Covenant Care is a benevolence ministry that distributes food, clothes, and hope to the needy in Hopkins County and Western Kentucky. Through the generous support of the congregation of Covenant Community Church, and partnerships with area businesses and government agencies, Covenant Care has grown into one of the region’s largest and most respected benevolence agencies.
Covenant Care is open to the public on Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., except for the first Tuesday of the month.
Covenant Chaplaincy ministry is a community outreach that provides spiritual guidance, prayer support, and comfort to those suffering illness and injury as well as their families. They help bridge a spiritual bridge between the local church and community institutions. Hebrews 14:12-13 tells us to go beyond the gates to the hurting community. It’s our desire to extend our ministry and touch those who are lost and hurting, who need prayer and support, who need to feel the loving hand of Jesus Christ. As we care for the people of our community we are actually ministering to Christ himself. We are here for you.
We have several areas of ministry within our chaplaincy program. Hospital Visitation, Prisons and Jails, Emergency Service Agencies, Disaster Areas, Covenant Care, our ministry that feeds the underprivileged of our community, workplace chaplains and we also care for the animal clinics and shelters.
